PURPOSE:To certainly facilitate the opening and closing of a top cover by releasing the engagement between a roof part and a rear chassis and allowing the roof part to be shifted rearward through springing-up, in the captioned apparatus for a small-sized car such as a sports car. CONSTITUTION:In the airtight sealed state, an engaging hook 57 is released from the cut part (not shown in the fugure) of a channel installation plate 50 by pulling an operating member 58 rearward, and a slider 69 is raised through a supporting piece 61 and a slidable guide pipe 64 by raising an elevation plate 53 by a springy force. Therefore, a windshield roof part 12 is separated from a front window part and a rear frame member for door which are not shown in the figure. Then the engagement between a front cut part 69 and a front supporting projection 63 is released by pushing an operating piece 70 outward, and a slider 65 is slided rearward along the guide pipe 64 by pushing the operating piece 70 rearward, and the roof part 12 is shifted rearward to open the windshield. The roof part 12 is fixed by the engagement between the rear cut part 69 and the rear supporting projection 63. With such constitution, the opening and closing of the top cover are certainly facilitated. |
