PURPOSE:To permit to attach and detach the fuel jet easily and stably by a method wherein an emulsion tube, a seal member and the fuel jet are inserted sequentially into the lower end entrance port of a fuel cylinder formed in the main body of the carburettor and the fuel jet is held by pressing it with a leaf spring. CONSTITUTION:The fuel cylinders 51, 52, extending into up-and-down direction from the bottom surface of a suction path 2 to the lower part of the oil surface in a float chamber 3, are formed integrally with the main body 1 of the carburettor. The emulsion tube 7, whose upper end is formed into a main fuel nozzle 6, a seal member 11 and the main fuel jet 8 are inserted sequentially and removably into the fuel cylinder 51 through a lower entrance port while the fuel nozzle 6 is opened in the suction path 2. The main fuel jet 8 is provided with an annular protuberance 12 at the lower end thereof so as to be exposed to the lower part of the fuel cylinder 51 and the leaf spring 13, engaging with the protuberance, is interposed between the float cup 4 and the protuberance. According to this method, the main fuel jet 8 and the seal member 11 are held at a position whereat they are abutted against the emulsion tube 7 by the resilient force of the leaf spring 13. |
