PURPOSE:To permit to control the secondary side choke valve properly in the manner same as the engine which is not equipped with the supercharger by a method wherein the secondary side choke valve of the carburettor equipped with the supercharger at the upstream side thereof is permitted to be opened and closed by utilizing a pressure difference between supercharging pressure and venturi pressure. CONSTITUTION:When sufficient supercharging is effected upon high load operation or the like of the engine and the pressure difference between the venturi pressure and supercharging pressure becomes large, the supercharging pressure, introduced into the supercharging pressure chamber 28 of first actuator 20 through a conduit 32, pushes a diaphragm 24 to the venturi pressure chamber 26 side against a spring 42. As a result, a valve 40 is pushed up, the pressure in the venturi pressure chamber 26 is released into atmosphere through an opening 34 and the pressure of the same chamber 26 is reduced. The reduced venturi pressure is introduced into the control chamber 56 of second actuator 50 through the conduit 70. Accordingly, the diaphragm 54 moves a rod member 62 against the spring 60 and the secondary side choke valve 12 of the carburettor 10 is opened. |
