PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide color photographic material using a two- equiv. cyan coupler having excellent colorability and dispersibility by introducing a phenyl ureide group and acyl amino group. CONSTITUTION:The compd. which has a phenyl ureide group substd. with a halogen atom in the 2nd position of phenol, has an acyl amino group in the 5th position and has the group such as -SR' in the 4th position and is expressed by the formula I is used as a cyan dye forming coupler. R in the formula I denotes a substd. or unsubstd. alkyl group, aryl group or heterocyclic group, X denotes a halogen atom, R' denotes an substd. or unsubstd. alkyl group, aryl group, alkinyl group, cycloalkyl group or heterocyclic group and n denotes 1-5 integer. When n is >=2, X may be the same or different. |
