The lid (1a) has a number of ribs (11, 12, 13) which are arranged with interspaces, run mainly radially and extend downwards from the underside of the lid surface. If such a lid (1a) is fitted on a container holding products placed in liquid, the ribs ensure in a simple manner that the product remains pressed down in the liquid. Using such a lid obviates the need for a special holding-down part and considerable savings can thus be achieved in the production operation and, furthermore, inconvenience to the user is avoided. <IMAGE> |
