<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a coordinate input device which can keep high accuracy for a long period of time by setting a dot spacer between two detection plates having resistance films, and adhering the spacer to the upper detection plate, and contacting it to the other detection plate and therefore reducing the breakage of the resistance film owing to friction. CONSTITUTION:Detection films 11 and 12 are obtained by attaching evenly resistance films 13 and 14 on an insulated substrate, and electrodes are provided at two sides of films 13 and 14 respectively. A dot spacer 15 made of an insulated material is set between detection plates 11 and 12 to have adhesion to the upper plate 11 and a contact with the plate 12 respectively. In an input mode of a pen 16 a dot spacer C is pulled right and tilts right centering on a contact point D with the plate 12. While a dot spacer E is pulled left and tilts left. When the writing pressure is applied to the plate 11 with a pen input, the spacer 15 is pulled and tilts toward the pen input point together with the plate 11. This can reduce greatly the friction produced between the detection plates and dot spacers and prevent the breakage of resistance films.</p> |
