PURPOSE:To obtain simultaneously both aerodynamic characteristics and stable running of a vehicle in one-time attaching work of an air spoiler onto the vehicle, by providing a noncontact distance measuring device to the air spoiler. CONSTITUTION:An air-dam type air spoiler 2 is composed of a body 20 and sensors 41, 42 of an ultrasonic ground surface detector 4 as a noncontact distance measuring device for detecting the distance from the body to the ground surface. The inside part of the body 20 of the air dam type air spoiler 2 is made of lightweight forming materials such as, for example, soft foamed urethan, and the outer surface section thereof is made of tough outer skin layer materials such as, for example, high-dense urethan. Recesses 25, 26 for receiving the sensors 41, 42 respectively corresponding to the right and left front wheels 14, 15 are formed in the lower surface of the body 20 in the right and left sections 23, 24 thereof. |
