PURPOSE:To set each optimum turbidity depending on the kind of waste water, and kind of the cause for the contamination by providing a parametric learning function to a sensing device for the level of contamination. CONSTITUTION:The titled device comprises a contamination sensor A comprising a light emitting device 1 and a photo-receptor 2 disposed in a settling tank 10, microcomputor 11, A/D converter 12, CPU13, key board 14, CRT display 15, and a relay output generator 16 outputting controlling instruction to a control panel for waste water treatment. Parameters expressing correlation between referential value of contamination depending on the material to be treated and its turbidity are set by the learning function using the computor 11, and the set referential values are stored. And, after the second time, when an object to be treated is selected by a selection switch, the turbidity in the settling tank 10 is monitored by adopting the stored value as a referential value; when a monitored value of the turbidity exceeds the referential value, discharge of the water is interrupted, and an alarm signal is raised simultaneously, and acceleration of treatment or other measure is taken. |
