Slide valve with spring centering system - has widened end portions in actuating plate forming locking positions

The spring-centred slide-type selector valve is actuated by a pivoting plate with a kidney-shaped slot (4). The slot accommodates a fin (5). At each end of the slot there are widened portions, which are partly circular in shape (6, 7), which form end locking positions for the valve. The valve body consits of a rod (8) with a central portion (8) of increased diameter sliding in a valve housing (3). At each end of the rod there is a spring, (9, 10) which urges the rod towards its central positions.
