PURPOSE:To form a surface coating layer excellent in corrosion-proofness and close adhesiveness, by applying pitting treatment to the surface of a metal and subsequently plasma spraying an Ni-base alloy to the treated surface while succeedingly performing pore sealing treatment. CONSTITUTION:Numberless pits are formed on the surface of stainless steel or low alloyed steel by holding said steel in an NaCl solution to pitting potential or more. Subsequently, the plasma spraying of an Ni-base alloy is applied to the treated steel and, succeedingly, pore sealing treatment is performed by using an epoxy resin, a silicone resin or paraffin. By the combination of this treating method, the synergistic effect of corrosion prevention of a metal surface and the peeling prevention of a surface coating layer is developed. |
