PURPOSE:To maintaining the radial rigidity high by providing at least three sets of radial magnetic poles made of first and second magnetic pole members secured to fixed side member and movable side member. CONSTITUTION:When the movable side member 2 will rotate relatively against the fixed side member 1, first and second magnetic pole chips 35, 36 where the magnetic gap G is maintained constant by an axial control electromagnet 4 are attracted each other to support the movable side member 2 on the fixed side member 1 under contactless state. Since plural sets of radial magnetic poles 3 having magnetic pole chips 35, 36 are provided in axial direction, the rigidity of bearing in radial direction can be maintained sufficiently high. |
