PLUNGER OF TRANSFER FORMING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To easily and promptly align the axis of the head of a plunger with that of the pot thereof by a method wherein the slide ring is pulled down so that the axis of the slide ring is aligned with that of the cylinder rod and the head is prepared so that it is fixed. CONSTITUTION:The spindle body 14 is fitted coaxially to the cylinder rod 10 of a transfer making machine and the frame body 16 is fitted coaxially to this spindle body 14. The head 26 is supported to this frame body 16 with a little play so that it can move radially. There is provided the slide ring 24 so that the head 26 can be fixed to the frame body 16 when the slide ring is pulled down axially. There is provided the stoppers 76, 78 for fixing the slide ring 24 in a state wherein it is pulled upward when the head 26 is moved and adjusted in the radial direction.
