PURPOSE:To establish safety in plating work in the galvanized coating of small iron materials by putting the materials to be plated in a vessel attached to a caterpillar, moving the vessel along the caterpillar, and performing dipping in a hot dipping bath, draining of molten zinc and discharge from the vessel of the plated materials. CONSTITUTION:Plural numbers of flat plate pallet 3 are attached between a pair of upper and lower caterpillar 1, 1', and an arm 4 and a vessel 5 for small articles to be plated at the top end of the arm 4 are attached to the pallet 3. A hot dipping bath 2 is arranged in parallel to one side of the caterpillar. The pallet 3 is moved in the direction of the arrow mark between the caterpillar 1, 1', and charging C into the vessel for the material to be plated, treatment of the material by dipping in the bath 2, and draining of excess molten zinc B are performed by moving the vessel 5 at low speed, or high speed with a chain wheel 9 for low speed movement, and with a chain wheel 10 for high speed movement. Then, the material is discharged after cooling out of the vessel 5. Since the operation is performed automatically there is no fear of causing accident to operator due to scattering of spray of molten zinc, and plating work is performed safely and with labor saving. |
