a. Tubular net intended to be used in mussel breeding. b. This net consists of the combination of two distinct networks 1 and 2 of threads or the like, linked to each other at their intersection points 3 in order to form one and the same perforated tubular casing and one of which, with fine mesh, consists of threads of low mechanical strength or which can rot through the action of the medium in which this net is immersed, whereas the other, with large mesh, is formed by threads with good mechanical strength and which cannot rot in this same medium. In point of fact, the arrangement is such that, after rupture or disappearance of the threads of the first network, the second network remains and then forms a large-mesh tubular net. c. This net is intended to be filled with mussels, of small dimensions, in order to form rolls capable of being rolled up around stakes of a mussel bed or of being suspended from floating lines or any other supports. <IMAGE> |
