PURPOSE:To enable a device to be simply and reliably checked by an operator of an alarming device, by a method wherein a controller, which senses a trouble and sounds an alarm from a gas flame, the operating condition of a gas cock, and a pressure regulating valve, is provided, and the controller is checked for the motion including sounding of an alarm through control of a switch for checking. CONSTITUTION:When a flame is not ignited, a trouble signal SEN becomes a low level to close a main cock 8, and the output of an NOR gate 28 produces a high level to sound a buzzer 9 to light ON an abnormal lamp 10 and light OFF a normal lamp 11. A detecting switch 34 of a pressure regulating valve is free from a pressure regulating motion resulting from the closing of the main cock 8, a flip flop 24 is reset by means of a signal COCK to continue sounding of the buzzer 9 also after operation of the cock. When a device is returned to normality by ignition made through recontrol of the cock, sounding of an alarm is stopped. Control of a switch 5A for checking causes simultaneous inputting of the signals COCK and SEN, and forms the same control motion as infailure in ignition, resulting in the possibility to check for an alarming motion including checking for the control motion of each part. |
