PURPOSE:To automatically feed a solid fuel to a combustion device where occasion demands, by a method wherein a device consists of a retainer part, which retains and stores a solid fuel for supplement, and a controller which is controlled by a sensor and a timer and feeds the solid fuel according to the necessity. CONSTITUTION:An igniting material is charged and ignited after a cover 1a of a solid fuel combustion device 1 is opened, and consecutively, a solid fuel, left bared, is charged to effect a first combustion. When first combustion in nearly completed, a timer incorporated in a controller 9 recoginizes a preset time, or a decrease of a temperature in the combustion device 1 to be lower than a given temperature is detected by the controller 9 by means of a sensor, a control signal is sent to an on-off device 12, and a vent hole 8 is opened for a given time. Thereafter, the controller 9 energizes a hook metal 61 located near to a fuel charging port 2, the forward end thereof is heated by a built-in heater, the hook hole of a vinyl bag packed with the solid fuel 4 is broken, and the bag is dropped in a slanted guide groove 7. The solid fuel packed in the bag slips down in the slanted guide groove 7, and is supplied in a solid fuel combustion device 1 through a charging port 2. |
