PURPOSE:To secure the discharge of air for a cooling-water passage means, radiator, and a water jacket when cooling water is poured, by installing air vent valves at the front and rear positions of a cooling-water circulation system. CONSTITUTION:The cooling-water poured from a cooling-water pouring port 10 flows into a water jacket 7 and a radiator 18. Said cooling-water flowing into the radiator 18 further flows into a temperature sensing valve 26. During the puring of the cooling-water, air vent valves 29 and 30 are both in opened state, and the air discharge for the radiator 18 and in the range close to the radiator side from the lowest parts La and Lb of cooling-water passage means A and B is carried-out by the air vent valve 29. The air discharge for the temperature- sensing valve 26 and in the range close to the engine 6 side from the lowest part Lb of the cooling-water passage means B is carried-out by the air vent valve 30 even if the temperature sensing valve 26 is in closed state. Further, the air discharge for the water jacket 7 and the part between the water pouring port 10 and the lowest part La of the cooling-water passage means A is carried-out through the water pouring port 10. |
