<p>PURPOSE:To subject effectively the org. material in activated sludge to a decomposition treatment with a simple operation by supplying oxygen into activated sludge contg. permanent magnets to accelerate the oxidation effect of the activated sludge thereby oxidizing and decomposing the org. material in the sludge. CONSTITUTION:The activated sludge generated by a sewer treatment and other treatment of animals, fishes, shells, etc. is put into a prescribed treating tank and an air pipe or the like is inserted therein. Oxygen is supplied from said pipe into the treating tank. Permanent magnets are disposed in the bottom or circumferential wall surface of the treating tank contg. the activated sludge or in the prescribed points in the treating tank. If the permanent magnets are disposed in the activated sludge, oxygen is generated by the permanent magnet even if the amt. of the oxygen supplied from the air pipe is small. The aerobic bacteria in the sludge are thus propagated and the oxidation effect is accelerated by the bacteria, by which the org. material in the activated sludge is oxidized and decomposed.</p> |
