A support and/or holding device 1 for percussion musical instruments, in particular for the instrument bodies, which act as a resonator, of "membranophones", has a design which guarantees optimum vibrational behaviour of the instrument body and prevents vibrational influences between different percussion musical instruments. It consists of a rigid support member 5 which engages on the instrument body, a holding member 7 which is or can be fixed to a support 4, and, arranged between these, a flexible connecting member (8). The flexible connecting member 8 consists of non-metallic, vibration-damping and/or absorbing material and is connected rigidly in one piece both to the support member 5 and to the holding member 7. Support member 5, holding member 7 and connecting member 8 at the same time form with one another a rubber-metal structural unit. <IMAGE>
