<p>The present invention relates mainly to a signalling adaptor. The device according to the invention enables a large number of channels to be processed by using a buffer memory interfaced to digital links. The data stored in the buffer memory 41 are analysed and modified by a microprocessor 1. The adaptability of the system to the various signalling codes for coded pulse modulation is ensured by the software of the microprocessor 1 stored for example in a programmable read-only memory 35.
