PURPOSE:To obtain a photocoupling part which has invariably stable characteristics with good reproducibility by confirming the contacting between optical fibers on the basis of the decision of a pressure load detecting means and then welding the optical fibers together. CONSTITUTION:Moving stages 13 and 14 are moved through a controller 18 to send in optical fibers 1, 2, and 3 toward the center positions of discharge electrodes 4 and 5 from left and right. The output of a pressure load measuring instrument 20 is monitored by the decision means to decide and confirm the contacting among the optical fibers 1, 2, and 3. When the contacting state among the optical fibers is confirmed, the optical fibers are heated and welded, and the weld part is cut. |
