<p>A multi-part sealing system for hermetically occluding an opening, through which at least one pipe or cable (2) is conducted. The system is manufactured of a resilient material, such as rubber, and comprises a number of segmental parts (7, 8), which jointly constitute a cylindrical body (6). This body is provided on its outside with circumferential, virtually inflexible ribs (9), disposed in radial planes, their outside diameter being greater than the inside diameter of the opening (3, 4) to be occluded. Each hole (11) in the cylindrical body (6) for the conduction of pipe or cable (2) is provided with circumferential, virtually inflexible ribs (12) disposed in radial planes, their inside diameter being at most as great as the outside diameter of the pipe or cable (2) conducted. At least part of the external ribs (9) of the body (6) and internal ribs (12) of the holes are disposed in sets, such ribs being disposed in common radial planes.</p> |
