Designed to give a delayed effect to electric firing by using two storage condensers one with a smaller capacity than the other. When current is passed into the circuit the resistance between the condensers ensures that current passes along one path and through induction energises the switching circuit and diode in an adjacent path so that the induction time gives the delayed action. The first current path can also be initiated by a percussion cap for use in delayed action contact fuses. |
