PURPOSE:To enable the digital display of a bicycle speed, by using a small dynamo as a sensor while increasing and decreasing the number of lightings of a light emitting diode through a comparator forming a switching element. CONSTITUTION:The AC voltage of a small generator G, which forms a sensor and is driven by the wheels of a bicycle, corresponding to the speed of the bicycle is rectified by diodes D1-D4, capacitors C2-C4 and resistors R11-R13 parallel thereto and converted to DC voltage. This DC voltage is supplied to comparators IC2-IC7 with different reference values forming a switching element to control the lighting of corresponding LED1-LED6 and the bicycle speed is subjected to digital display by the increase and decrease in the number of lightings. Similarly, a buzzer is turned ON when the bicycle speed reaches a definite speed or more and an alarm can be generated. |
