PURPOSE:To produce a curved line at a high speed by providing memory means independently for the coordinate values of dots which form a curved line pattern, the value for replacement of said coordinate value, the data for replacement of said value for replacement, etc. CONSTITUTION:Registers 31 and 32 which store the (x) and (y) coordinate values of dots forming a curved line pattern are provided together with a register 4 which stores the arithmetic value data for replacement of the (y) coordinate value of the register 32, registers 51-5n which store the arithmetic value data for replacement of the arithmetic value data of the register 4, a register 6 which stores the (x) coordinate value data, and a register 7 which stores the result of comparison between (x) and (y) coordinate values. A processor 1 operates each of those registers in a prescribed procedure to produce a curved line pattern and delivers it to an output device 2. |
