PURPOSE:To attain selection of a channel command word (CCW) with which the processing is through with high efficiency by providing a channel command word (CCW) address setting circuit to a channel and writing an indentification mark of the CCW with which the processing is through to a shared memory when the processing through the channel is over. CONSTITUTION:An interface register 11-1 and a CCW address setting circuit 11-2 are provided to a channel 11. The circuit 11-2 writes the head address of a main memory 12 of the CCW with which the processing is through to a CCW address area 12-2 of the memory 12 when the command processing is through with the CCW of the channel 11. The store place of the CCW processed at the channel 11 is known by reading out the area 12-2. Thus it is possible to discriminate the processed CCW from the unprocessed CCW and read it. |
