PURPOSE:To realize the recording of broad band and high density by applying an information signal having a fixed frequency or below to an electromagnetic conversion scanning system of a vertical magnetizing recording system and also superimposing a reference signal of a fixed frequency on the information signal. CONSTITUTION:After an NTSC color video signal is modulated at an FM modulator 1, the result is given to a magnetic head 4 through a recording amplifier 2 and an adder 3 and recorded vertically onto a magnetic tape 5. A signal being an integral number of multiple of a subcarrier in 3.58MHz is fed to the adder 3 as a pilot signal and multiplexed on the original signal. The pilot signal is a reference sin wave signal used to eliminate jitter at reproduction and since the signal is multiplexed while the band is separated to an FM video signal, the interference between the both is not entirely caused. Thus, the FM video signal is recorded by using the entire band below the 1st zero point and no band limit is subjected by multiplexing the pilot signal. |
