Rotary shuttle magazine indexing drive is formed as a Maltese Cross shape whose drive disc is formed by separate and offset indexing and locking discs mounted on the magazine and the slots in the discs are engaged by their resp. drive dogs and locking segments located with corresp. offset on the drive shafT. Device is used in weaving looms with oscillating sheds. The rotary magazine stores the shuttles temporarily as they are passing out of the sheds and ejects the shuttles for further transport tot he recovering device. Drive is thus very compact and reliable in service.
