PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform recording within a time almost same to that in monochromatic recording, by providing a length, required in recording paper to be transferred corresponding to a copy at every color, to a transfer medium and simultaneously performing the formation of main scanning lines with respect to all colors. CONSTITUTION:A transfer medium 13 is wound around a transfer medium supply roller 12 and wound up by a transfer medium wind-up roller 21 through buffer mechanisms 17, 19 to advance to a direction shown by the arrow A. Scanning mechanism parts 16, 18, 20 are arranged in parallel at almost equal intervals and formed main scanning lines 24-26 cross a sub-scanning direction A performed by the movement of paper 14 to be transferred almost at right angles. The intervals of the scanning mechanism parts 16 and 18, 18 and 20 are pref. set as small as possible from the constitutional aspect of a mechanism and can be reduced as compared with the length of a usual recording picture in the sub-scanning direction thereof. The length of the transfer medium 13 in the sub-scanning direction thereof at every color is almost equal to that of the recording picture in the sub-scanning direction thereof and the buffer mechanism parts 17, 19 are provided between the scanning mechanism parts 16 and 18, 18 and 20 and store lengths separately coated in plural colors. |
