PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a lamp and a glass tube body due to heat by tightly fitting a wound-frame type sealing body with the circulation port of a cooling medium to the end of the glass tube body and fitting it to a retaining body with spacings in the direction in which it intersects the axis of the glass tube body and then hooking both-sided collar section on the retaining body. CONSTITUTION:Since a sealing body 6 is retained with a gap 7 by a retaining body 5, even when the direction of a support body 4 is varied and the sealing body does not align the axis of a bulb body 3, the displacement is absorbed within the range of the gap 7 and bending stress is not applied to the bulb body 3. In addition, bending stress is also applied to the deflection of a base section 29 within the range of the gap 7 in the same way and the damage can be prevented. Furthermore, since the wound-frame type sealing body 6 is fit to the two-divided retaining body 5 and both-sided collar section 8 is hooked on the retaining body 5, the sealing body 6 can accurately and easily be fit to the retaining body 5. A lamp 1 can use a halogen lamp instead of a discharge lamp. Moreover, coolant can use cooling air as well as water. |
