PURPOSE:To obtain easily a phase shifter with high adjusting band for phase matching by dividing an original signal into two via a branching device, forming an n-multiple harmonic signal and an (n-1)-multiple harmonic signal, and extracting a difference signal by means of a filter from the result of multiplication of two signals at a multiplier. CONSTITUTION:When an original signal sin omegat is inputted respectively to a loop A comprising components 12, 13, 14 and a loop B comprising components 15, 16 by an oscillator 10 via the branching device 11, a high frequency group is formed through a phase shifter unit 12 of the loop A, and a signal sin n(omegat-phi) is selected from the group at the band-pass filter 14. On the other hand, a high frequency group is also formed at a nonlinear circuit of the loop B and a signal sin (n-1)omegat is selected by the band-pass filter 16 from the group. An output signal sin (omegat-nphi+lambda/2) is obtained by multiplying both the signals at a multiplier 17 and selecting the result at a band-pass filter 18. This results in that the phase shift of nphi-lambda/2 is obtained while the phase shift by phi is set by a phase shifter unit. |
