PURPOSE:To suppress short between plates by arranging cells which have no anode active material in a part of an anode grid and dispersing generation of dendrite in the anode grid. CONSTITUTION:A grid 1 has cells A in which active material is not filled, and electrolyte directly contacts the cells. For example, in a grid having a thickness of 16mm., the area of cell is such large as 122mm./cell and the number of cells are 66. Of 66 cells, 22 are not filled with anode active material. Although increase of the area of cell and 22 cells having no active material increase electric resistance, that is conpensated by increase of cross section area of a grid bone. |
