PURPOSE:To provide a titled member having resistance to corrosion and wear by providing a partition wall in a casting mold, melting and pouring respectively the metal for the member body and a corrosion- and wear-resistant metal on both surfaces of said plate, rising both molten metal at the same level via the partition plate and joining diffusively the partition plate and both molten metals at the boundary. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical metallic partition wall 13 is provided in a casting mold 15 in the case of manufacturing, for example, a cylinder 11 of a molding machine. A metal 16, such as a spheroidal graphite cast iron or the like, which is to be made into a body and a corrosion- and wear-resistant metal 17, such as a chromium cast iron, to be formed on the inside are respectively melted and the molten are respectively poured through sprues 18 and 19. Runners 20 and 21 are so adjusted that both molten metals rise at the same level via the wall 13. Then the boundaries between the wall 13 and the metals 16, 17 are respectively metallurgically fused and diffisively joined to each other. |
