PURPOSE:To prevent useless feed of printing paper with a higher operability by stopping the transfer of a printing medium by a transfer stop command means while it is being tranferred. CONSTITUTION:A driving circuit 32 which drives a step motor 33 operates it continuously as long as the enable input is a high level signal H. Each time running the step motor 33 by one step, it outputs one pulse. An FF switch 34 has a function that when it is pressed once, a page feed signal (c) (a pulse-like output) is transmitted and upon the pressing thereof twice, a break signal (a) (a pulse- like output) sometime while a printing paper is transferred, namely, while the driving circuit 32 is in operation. Therefore, when the feeding is stopped at any desired position or when it is stopped suddenly due to pressing of an FF switch 34 by mistake for an LF switch 22 for feed line, the feeding can be stopped easily by pressing the FF switch 34 once more. |
