PURPOSE:To remove completely deposits from the surface of a submerged structure to extend life expectancy by removing the deposits attached to the submerged structure with scrapers or the like and injecting air together with sand by using a dry sand blast apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Deposits such as corroded products attached to a submerged structure are removed by scrapers or the like. Next, by using a dry sand blasting installed on land or the like, air together with sand is injected to the surface of the submerged structure through a sand hose introduced from a compressor into water with 7kg/cm<2> or more of air pressure through a nozzle according to the depth of water to prepare the foundation of the structure. The surface of this foundation can be processed up to the Swedish Standard SIS Sa2<1>/2. Then, water cured type paint is applied to the foundation which is subjected to lining process by forcibly supplying mortar or epoxi-resin to provide a long term anticorrosive effect. |
