<p>PURPOSE:To make an 8-shaped line storage attainable at a narrow space, by letting a traverser shift to both cross and longitudinal directions of a cable housing part in conformity with the existing position of a cable and a position of the traverser both detected by a sensor. CONSTITUTION:In case of being used for a line storage device of a cable for moving apparatus use, a cable C is set to a cable feed device 7 by way of a group of rolls 16, 14 and 12. And, with drive of the device 7, the cable C is delivered to the inside of a cable housing part 2 by way of a traverser 6, and a cable end part is drawn out of space between pipes of a housing part outer frame 2b and set down to a connection end leading to an external power source. At this time, each sense of rotation in motors 8a and 8b is controlled for selection according to each of detection signals showing an operating state of plural sensors 3 being set up in an optional position inside the housing part 2 and the existing position of the traverser 6 whereby the traverser 6 is shifted to both longitudinal and cross directions of the housing part 2, thus the cable C is stored in an 8-shaped form.</p> |
