PURPOSE:To make a pallet feedable intermittently at high speed as well as to make it stoackable at need, by installing a coupling claw in the pallet, while making this claw connectible to a chain subject to intermittent feed detachably. CONSTITUTION:A conveying device is constituted of a coupling device 8 for a pallet 6 and a chain 7, a cutoff device 9 releasing the coupling between both 6 and 7, and each of turning devices 10-13 turning the pallet at a corner part, etc. And, the pallet 6 first carries out coveyance with continuous conveying chains 14 in two rows and, after a turnabout takes place by a turning device 10, is coupled with a chain 7 intermittently fed by the coupling device 8. At this time, a coupling claw 19 of the pallet 6 is made to engage with a space between rollers of the chain 7. Next, the pallet 6 is disjoined from the chain 7 by a cutoff device 9 and, after it is conveyed again by the chain 14, made into stick C at discretion. |
