PURPOSE:To attain simply fine adjustment of the shift of tracking or the like by providing a manual scanning driving means coupled with a drive transmitting means so as to be optionally engaged and disengaged. CONSTITUTION:When a step motor 9 is driven, a scanning arm 12 is moved in the axial direction through a pinion gear 8 and a magnetic head 19 is scanned in the radius direction of a magnetic disc. On the other hand, the base end part of a manual scanning arm 24 is fitted to the side plate of a case 1 so as to be optionally oscillated in the vertical direction and a manual tracking gear 26 enabled to be engaged with a pinion gear 26 for the step motor 9 is fitted to the leading end part of the arm 24. A limit switch is attached to the case 1 so that the excitation of the step motor 9 is released when the manual tracking gear 26 is engaged with the pinion gear 25. |
