PURPOSE:To improve adhesiveness with a substrate and a separating property from an information track formation mold by forming a ground layer for a heat or light cured resin layer on a plastic substrate and then forming information tracks. CONSTITUTION:Light curable resin, e.g. ultraviolet ray curable resin, is resolved in an organic solvent, its solution is applied and dried and then ultraviolet rays are irradiated to the dried surface to form an ultraviolet ray cured layer (ground layer) 2 on one side or both sides of the plastic substrate 1. Subsequently, the information track formation mold 6 having grooves 4 corresponding to projected parts 4 of the information tracks and projections 5 corresponding to recessed parts 5 is filled with a solution obtained by resolving the light curable resin, e.g. ultraviolet ray curable resin, in an organic solvent, the ultraviolet ray cured layer 2 is superposed to the mold 6 and then ultraviolet rays are irradiated to transfer the ultraviolet ray cured resin layer 3. After removing the mold 6, an optical information carrier is obtained. |
