PURPOSE:To reduce the power loss of a switching regulator by providing a starter for controlling a switch during the prescribed time when starting to supply a high voltage, thereby enabling to produce a power of a controller from a low voltage side. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage is started to be supplied from a high voltage supply circuit 1, a capacitor 33 in a starter 25 is charged at the prescribed time constant. A transistor 34 operates as an emitter follower, and when the capacitor 33 is not so charged, a current 36 which passes a resistor 35 and conducts a transistor 11 of a switch 2 is flowed. When the base voltage of the transistor 34 becomes sufficiently high, the transistor 34 is interrupted to eliminate the influence to the transistor 11. |
