CONNECTING TERMINAL FOR STORAGE BATTERY

PURPOSE:To prevent reverse connection of a holder by installing a concave or convex engaging part on one-sided part of holder which commonly holds a positive connecting terminal and a negative connecting terminal and installing a convex or concave engaging part which engages with the engaging part of the hold- er in a corresponding part of a storage battery. CONSTITUTION:Connecting terminals 1 and 2 are formed as cylindrical spring coupler terminals having slits and also as hollow cylindrical caps so as to closely fit column-shaped positive and negative terminals 5 and 6 installed on a cover of storage battery 4. A vertical concave strip 15 is installed in one-sided part of a holder 7 which commonly holds positive and negative coupler terminals 1 and 2. A cover of storage battery is formed as a projected step 13 which is higher than terminals 5 and 6, and a vertical convex strip 14 which engages with the concave strip 15 is installed in the side of the projected step 13. Therefore, reverse connection is prevented.
