PURPOSE:To prevent the engine-stop by supplying fuel in advance when a clutch is placed in OFF-position in an intermediate running range between a specified restored number of revolution being a standard when the fuel cut is released and a limit number of revolution for avoiding the engine stop. CONSTITUTION:When a car is decelerated, a fuel cut signal (b) is given from the fuel cut control unit 11 of a fuel cut mechanism 4 and a fuel cut valve 6 is fully closed. In this state, when the engine speed detected by an engine speed sensor 12 exists in an intermediate range between a restored number of revolution (for example 900rpm) and a little higher limit number of revolution (for example 1,200rpm) for avoiding the engine stop, and then a clutch switch 14 or a neutral switch 13 is changed from OFF- to ON-position, the fuel cut is released. Thus, an electromagnetic pump 25 is driven only for a fixed time so as to supply a specific quantity of fuel to a carbureter 2, while the throttle valve 2 may be rapidly opened only by a specific angle. |
