PURPOSE:To stabilize the photo output and simplify the construction of the titled device by providing a temperature compensation circuit by a thermistor. CONSTITUTION:A laser diode 1 is connected to a bias circuit consisting of the thermistor 2, a resistor 3 and a DC power source 4. When the temperature increase, the threshold value increases, and the photo output decreases in the case of a constant current. In this case, the resistance value of the thermistor 2 reduces with an increase in the temperature, accordingly the current increases and then makes the photo output constant. |
