Mains supply distribution box - protects each output independently against load faults using separate current transformers and cut=out contacts

The distribution box has a common PCB (7) on which the individual earth fault detection circuits and their common d.c. supply (26) are mounted. The mains input conductors (16,17) are fed via separate current transformers (20) and cut-out contacts (23) to each of the consumer circuits. The d.c. supply is fed to the individual detector circuits (19) which operate the cut-out coils (21). Individual test switches (24) can connect a dummy load impedance (25) across each supply output to simulate a fault.
