PURPOSE:To prevent the hunting of a refrigerant flow control valve from occurring due to the change of load accompanied by the instantaneous change of insolation or of outdoor air velocity by a method wherein the closing time constant of a thermostatic expansion valve is made shorter than its opening time constant so as to have the same tendency as the time constants of a heat collector. CONSTITUTION:A thermostatic expansion valve 5 is the refrigerant flow control valve, the opening time constant of which is longer than its closing time constant. Because the closing time constant of the thermostatic expansion valve 5 is made shorter than its opening time constant so as to have the same tendency as the time constants of a heat collector 1, if the instantaneous changes of insolation and outdoor air velocity occur, when load decreases, the valve closing action of the thermostatic expansion valve 5 is done quickly, resulting in preventing the refrigerant from flowing back to a compressor 3. At the same time, because the opening time constant is longer than the closing time constant, the valve opening action is done slowly. As a result, the hunting phenomenon of the thermostatic expansion valvecan be prevented from occurring. |
