CHARACTER SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To display sequentially a character by mixing a gated character signal to a video signal. CONSTITUTION:A signal obtained by a character signal generating circuit 4 is gated by a gate signal whose pulse width is changed as the time obtained by a variable gate pulse circuit 7 is elapsed. Thus, the character signal is displayed the time from the start of a horizontal period. A variable gate pulse circuit 7 is obtained easily by using a horizontal/vertical synchronizing signal and applying a digital processing so as to attain the display of the character sequentially with simple constitution.
