JOINING METHOD OF SMALL-SIZED METALLIC ARTICLES

PURPOSE:To join efficiently very small joint parts by disposing a base material which is applied with a joining material on the inside surface and is formed to a desired sectional shape in the prescribed position of the other base material to form a hollow part between the base materials and joining the base materials by heating. CONSTITUTION:A base material 1 which is applied with a joining material 2 consisting of solder or similar material on the inside surface is curved or bent by pressing and is formed to a desired sectional shape having very small joint parts 3, 4. A suitable solvent is applied on the material 1 and thereafter the base material is disposed in the prescribed position of the other base material 5 to face the same to form a hollow part 6 between the materials 1 and 5. The base materials are then heated to melt the material 2 so that the material 2 flows into the spaces between the upper and lowr inside joint parts 3 and 3' as well as upper and lower outside joint parts 4 and 4' formed at the end between the materials 1 and 5, thereby joining the joint parts 3, 3' and 4, 4'. The very small joint parts of the titled parts are thus simply and easily joined.
