The invention relates to a magnetic motor operating by virtue of the potential energy created by the magnetic field of permanent magnets changing inside their region of mutual influence. It consists of two types of permanent magnet of parallelepipedal shape. The magnets of the first type 1 are mounted on platens 2 overlaid on a common axis 3 thus forming the rotor. The magnets of the second type 4 are each mounted on an electromechanical device 5 bringing about, under a supervised electrical pulse, a 180 DEG rotation of the magnet in an axis perpendicular to the axis of the rotor. Through this rotation the relevant magnet changes the nature of its magnetic poles attracting and repelling the magnets of the rotor passing within its region of magnetic influence. This motor is intended for any use requiring a motor. It is particularly intended for uses requiring a highly self-sufficient motor of little maintenance in particular space, the sea and agriculture. <IMAGE>
