摘要 The object of the invention consists in designing an arrangement for measuring height in such a manner that, by increasing the signal/noise ratio between pole division and environment, the accuracy of the photo-electrical measurement data acquisition over long distances increases so that an objectivisation and automation of the measuring process in geometric levelling is possible. The object is achieved by the fact that an optical system with a light source for sending out an infrared or a visible beam of light is arranged in the optical axis of a sighting telescope and that a reflecting division is provided for the measuring pole. It is advantageous if the optical system for sending out the light beam and the sighting telescope have a common optical axis. The invention makes it possible to objectivise the measuring process of the detection of photo-electrical measurement data and to automate the data flow and to increase the accuracy of the visual observation by relieving the observer. This also reduces the number of reading and transmission errors. <IMAGE>
