PURPOSE:To easily suppress the inclination and central deviation of the screen section of a cathode-ray tube to an error of less than 1mm. by providing a minimum of two plate-type protrusions in the lug mounting section of a reinforcement member with the width interval of the lug, inserting the lug between the protrusions, and fixing the lug to the protrusions. CONSTITUTION:A minimum of two plate-type protrusions 5a and 5a are formed in the lug mounting section of a reinforcement member 5 with the width interval of a lug 6 by raised cutting. Side walls 6a and 6b are provided in the section corresponding to the protrusions 5a and 5a in the lug 6. In addition, the reinforcement member 5 is premounted on a cathode-ray tube 3. The lug 6 is inserted between the projections 5a and 5a of the reinforcement member 5 and is positioned at an accuracy of less than + or -0.2omega based on the screen section of the CRT3. Then the projection 5a is welded on the side wall 6a with laser 7. As a result, when the lug 6 is fixed to a television chassis, the inclination of the screen section of the CRT3 and the central deviation of the CRT3 can easily be suppressed to an error of less than 1mm.. |
